About the Journal
The Irbid Journal of Research and Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal that has been published since 1997. The journal is overseen by an editorial board comprising professors from Irbid National University and other public and private Jordanian universities.
The journal is currently published in four academic fields:
the humanities and social sciences, educational sciences, economics and management, and law.
It also publishes academic reviews, research papers, commentaries and articles in these fields.
The journal contributes to the dissemination of original scientific research by researchers from universities and scientific institutions in Jordan and abroad,
with the most prominent countries of origin of those wishing to publish in the journal being: Syria, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Iraq, Egypt, Algeria and Tunisia.
The journal adheres to strict publication guidelines; research is only accepted for publication after being peer-reviewed by at least two referees who are recognised experts in their field and hold academic ranks.
The journal is indexed in the Dar Al-Manzuma database (Saudi Arabia) and the Al-Manhal database (United Arab Emirates).

Journal Publication Guidelines:
1- Research submitted for publication must meet the criteria of scientific research in terms of originality, comprehensiveness, thoroughness and documentation, and must be written in either Arabic or English. The research paper must not exceed 30 pages, including figures, diagrams, references, tables and appendices; scientific articles and commentaries must not exceed 10 pages.
2- The research must not have been published or submitted for publication in any other journal; submission of the research to the journal is deemed to constitute the researcher’s acknowledgement of this.
3- The researcher may not republish a paper published in the Irbid Journal of Research and Studies, or publish an abstract of it in any other publication medium, until six months have elapsed since its publication, and with the written consent of the Editor-in-Chief; reference must be made to this consent upon republication.
4- The journal reserves the right to delete, abridge or reword certain sentences to suit its publication style.
5- If the researcher withdraws their paper after it has been sent for peer review, they are obliged to pay all expenses incurred in the peer review process.
6- The author of a published paper shall be provided with one copy of the issue in which their paper was published, in addition to ten copies of their paper.
7- The paper must be typed on one side of A4 paper using Microsoft Word and the Times New Roman font, with a font size of 12 for English and 14 for Arabic, double line spacing, and margins of 2.5 cm. The researcher must submit three hard copies and one electronic copy (on a CD-ROM). The researcher may also send their paper via email to the journal.
8- Tables and figures shall be numbered consecutively in the order in which they appear in the paper, provided with captions, printed on tracing paper on separate pages, drawn or printed in black ink, and placed at the end of the paper.
